The Swedish Dental and Pharmaceutical Benefits Agency, TLV, regularly monitors what is published by the corresponding authorities in a few selected countries. TLV has chosen to primarily focus on publications from the British National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), the Canadian Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH) and the American Food and Drug Administration (FDA). TLV can also obtain information about new medical technology products through newsletters and through contact with trade associations, patient organisations and companies.
